Glad we found this item as very hard to come by. Works find & who could beat the price.
Yes, I was careful with the little side releases that none of the other iphone connectors needed.Both worked easily for a little while, then worked if jiggled, then didn't work.I now charge my iphone using my igo via a kensington battery pack which uses a usb tip.I have a bunch of other igo tips which work fine.For me, the two of these tips that I bought for my iphone 3G were junk.
Please use the 'sliders' or holders that hold it on place to the phone charger outlet, as I suspect that it failed to work after being pulled out too many times without correctly dis-attaching it. I have seen reviews by some who say that it stopped working after a few months. It works as described. I have used the I-Go charger, and I have lessened the clutter of chargers and other accessories needed when traveling or just going about your daily business.
Fortunately, this isn't the case, the tip works just fine with my iGo Juice mobile device connector. I have prior experiences with other iPod connectors that work with my old iPod that do not work properly with my Touch (music plays, but the Touch does not recharge). This iGo tip works perfectly with my iPod Touch 2g. I was worried that it might not recharge my iPod.
The dot color (blue in this case) tells you what chargers it fits. Make sure your tips are compatible with your charger.
